Salary Negotiations 101: Your Guide to Negotiating Job Offer

Professional Outplacement Assistance Center (POAC) is excited to introduce our Speaker Spotlight series which will feature special guests sharing their knowledge and expertise in an array of topics.

POAC is proud to bring you Karen Chopra, an independent career counselor in the DC area for over 20 years. A former trade negotiator, one of her specialties is salary negotiations. She has published a book on salary negotiations and developed the Certified Salary Negotiation Specialist (CSNS) credential.

 Participants will:

               -Understand negotiating leverage and how to use it

               -Be able to execute the “salary dodge three step” in interviews

               -Know how to prepare for and conduct a salary negotiation
