Frontier Careers Fair 2026

Connected DMV and the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, invites UMBC students to participate in the Frontier Careers Fair @ QWC, taking place Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in the Terrapin Ballroom at The Hotel at UMD, immediately ahead of Quantum World Congress.

This career fair is built around connecting students and researchers with the industries actively hiring in frontier technology — quantum, AI, advanced computing, semiconductors, photonics, cybersecurity, space, and beyond. It goes beyond a typical resume-drop event, offering a workforce development experience where students can explore career pathways, understand what employers are looking for, and build meaningful connections with organizations at the forefront of innovation.
